Produces a paint film with very good abrasion, chemical and solvent resistance. USES: As a primer and undercoat for timber, fibreglass, aluminum and concrete, as well as an undercoat over Norglass NORSHIELD ANTI-CORROSIVE PRIMER on steel surfaces, and all areas where Northane colours are to be applied. Page 2 – Shipshape Primer-Undercoat PREPARATION: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, sanded and well prepared. APPLICATION: Mix 3 parts of Shipshape Base with 1 part Shipshape Hardener by volume, stir thoroughly and allow to stand for a further 10 minutes before using. Apply by brush roller, airless or conventional spray. Adjust Spraying Thinners according to the pressure system used or thin 25-33% at 50-70 psi.
