Preparation: Ensure timber is clean and dry. Remove sanding dust with Norglass Epoxy Thinners. For rot-affected timber, remove severely damaged areas before treatment.
Application: Mix equal volumes of base and hardener, stir thoroughly, and let stand for 5 minutes. Apply with a brush or roller. For porous wood, apply a second wet coat. Allow 48 hours for solvent migration before recoating.
Transportation: Classified as a flammable liquid, Dangerous Goods Class 3.2, HAZCHEM 3[Y] P.G. III. Available in various pack sizes.
Precautions: Avoid skin contact and smoking during application. Use protective gear and ensure adequate ventilation. In confined spaces, use an air-fed face mask.
First Aid:
  • Skin Contact: Wash with soap and water
  • Eye Contact: Rinse with water for 15 minutes and seek medical advice
  • If Swallowed: Do not induce vomiting, give water, and seek medical advice
Special Instructions: Lightly sand between coats if more than 24 hours elapse. Not suitable for direct sunlight exposure due to poor UV resistance. No additional protection needed for internal areas shielded from sunlight.

Page 2 - Norseal PREPARATION: Clean dry timber: Remove sanding dust by wiping down with NORGLASS EPOXY THINNERS. Soft, rot affected timber: Where the wood has lost a substantial amount of its original value through dry rot it is advisable to cut out the worst affected parts before treating the remainder. APPLICATION: After mixing an equal volume of NORSEAL Base and Hardener, stir thoroughly and let stand for 5 minutes before using.
