Description: NoRUST Anti-Corrosive Primer is a modern primer designed to prevent corrosion on various surfaces. It contains non-toxic rust inhibiting pigments and is resistant to humidity and salt spray. It is suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as other substrates.
Uses: Applicable on ferrous metals, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, weathered galvanised iron, bronze, fibreglass, and more.

Preparation: For steel, sandblast to white metal or power sand to clean metal. For other metals, sandblast or solvent degrease and sand to clean metal.
Application:
  • Brush & Roller: Stir and apply directly from the can. Add up to 5% Weatherfast Brushing Thinners in hot weather. Apply second coat at right angles after 3 hours at 20°C.
  • Spray: Thin with Weatherfast Spraying Thinners to appropriate viscosity. Do not substitute thinners.
  • Overcoating: Additional coats after 2 hours; 24 hours if using a 2-pack product.
Transportation: Classified as Dangerous Goods, Class 3.2, HAZCHEM 3[Y] III. Available in 4L, 1L, 500ml, and 250ml sizes.
Precautions: Avoid skin contact, do not smoke during application, wear protective gear, ensure ventilation, and use an air-fed mask in confined areas. Wash hands before eating or smoking.
First Aid: For skin contact, remove clothing and wash with mineral turps and soap. For eye contact, irrigate with water and see a doctor. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting, give water, and call a doctor.

Page 2 – NoRust PREPARATION: Steel: Sandblast to white metal (AS 1627.4) or power sand to a clean metal state. Other Metals: Sandblast or solvent degrease and sand to a clean metal state. APPLICATION: Brush & Roller: Stir thoroughly and apply straight from the can immediately after the surface has been prepared. In hot weather up to 5% of Weatherfast Brushing Thinners can be added to assist flow. At 20°C a second coat may be applied after 3 hours.
