Uses: Suitable for panelling, doors, outdoor furniture, railings, and general bright work on boats, excluding areas with heavy traffic.

  • Colour: Light Amber
  • Finish: High Gloss
  • Coverage: Up to 12 sq. metres/litre
  • Drying Time: Touch dry in 3 hours
  • Recoating: After 16 hours at 50% relative humidity
  • Flash Point: 32°C
  • Clean Up: WEATHERFAST BRUSHING THINNER
Preparation: Ensure new bare timber is dry and sanded, removing dust with NORCLEAN—PLUS. Previously varnished timber should be sanded and cleaned. Remove cracked or peeling varnish completely.
Application: Apply the first coat by brush. Thinning is not recommended but if done, allow extra drying time. Light sanding between coats is advised, with a minimum of 5 coats for sun-exposed areas.
Transportation: Classified as a flammable liquid, Dangerous Goods Class 3.2.
Precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation, avoid flames, and do not use in high humidity or low temperatures.
First Aid: In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting; seek medical help. For eye contact, rinse with water. If inhaled, move to fresh air. For skin contact, wash with soap and water.

MICRIOSHIELD PREMIUM VARNISH New Bare Timber must be dry, well sanded and have the dust particles within the grain removed by clean rags soaked in NORCLEAN—PLUS. Previously varnished timber (in good condition) should be sanded thoroughly to a flat state then wiped over with a lint free cloth in NOR-CLEAN PLUS. Cracked or peeling varnishes must be totally removed back to a clean dry timber state. The first coat should be applied by brush to work the product in to the timber surface.
