Noosa Cat Australia PtyLtd is the sole manufacturer of the only power catamarans which have been evolved from the original Shark Cat. Noosa Cat Australia PtyLtd is situated in Noosaville, Queensland, Australia and is a family owned, private company which commenced operations in 1986. In 1990, Noosa Cat Australia PtyLtd built its own 25,000sq. ft. factory in Production Street, Noosaville, on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland. Today the factory has been increased to in excess of 65,000 sq.ft., to cater for both the increasing range of models and the increasing demand for the Noosa Cat product range. The 7 and 8 metre (2700 and 3100 Series) Noosa Cats are the singularly most widely used rescue and patrol craft in service in Australia today.
