Advancing Recovery Systems The ScorSweep 150 is a complete oil recovery side collector skimmer package that is designed to temporarily turn a vessel into an oil slick processing system. Intended for larger offshore and nearshore operations, the package equips a ScorTail 150, an oleophilic belt brush skimmer, to the side of the recovery vessel. The skimmer is connected to a sweep boom that creates a containment swath that corrals and guides oil during recovery operations to the collection point of the skimmer, located at the apex of the configuration towards the stern of the vessel. The 150 m3/h capacity sustains over hours of operation allowing efficient operations. Recovery rates of <5 % water and can be achieved at vessel speeds of up to 4 knots. All powered systems are hydraulically driven and operated from a single power unit utilizing quick-couplings. Customizable, with flexible fitting to new-build or existing vessels. Can be operated by a small crew.
