Oil Containment Solid Floatation Curtain Boom Scorpion C-Series The Scorpion C-Series Solid Filled Boom is a cost-effective, rapidly deployed containment system that utilizes solid foam cylindrical floats. The C-Series boom is ideal for multiple applications including inland waters, offshore open seas and waters with high speed currents. The strength and rigidity of the solid floats allows the boom to maintain shape and provides excellent conformance to waves. The boom can be produced in various lengths allowing custom solutions to booming needs. Enhanced buoyancy makes the boom extremely effective in maintaining its configuration in applications where swells and currents are present. TECHNICAL DATA Manufactured from high visibility PVC-coated Polyester fabric. Closed-cell PET foam cylindrical floats provide unmatched reliability and optimal buoyancy. Tensioning is achieved with PET webbing and galvanized chain. Depending on operational needs, various section lengths are feasible upon clients request as well as different connectors like INOX U-bolt or ASTM Z end connectors.
