System consists of wireless sensor and receiver/monitor which continuously show the level. Both units are battery operated. Extremely low power consumption allows the battery life up to 5 years. Optionally, a life time Lithium battery is available. There are three different types - capacitive foil sensor for fresh water plastic tanks, - capacitive rod sensor for fresh or gray water metal tanks and - ultrasonic sensor for all types of tanks. Sensors have no moving parts so the operation is reliable and maintenance free. Foil sensor is placed from outside of the tank and measure the level through the tank wall.
