The Yacht 80 The Swan 80 is the latest expression of Swan’s expertise in designing and building fast Maxi-cruisers. Available like all the large Swans in both a flush deck and a raised saloon version, the Swan 80 is sleek, elegant, and fast. On the Swan 80S the raised salon offers enhanced protection to the large entertainment cockpit, with an integrated bimini that is new to the Swan line. The Swan 80FD, on the other hand, boasts a vast and uncluttered teak deck with unparalleled space for lounging, sunbathing, or racing. Deck & Sail Plan Maintaining the seaworthy traditions of Nautor, the Swan 80 will meet the construction integrity and build specification expected of the marque. The hull is foam-cored carbon-fibre reinforced construction using the pre-preg lay-up, which ensures a stiff laminate with excellent strength and fatigue properties. Two deck layouts are offered, but the difference is limited to the transom where the options allow for an open transom with an aft deck that sweeps sternwards at one level or a more protective closed transom with a raised aft deck. Interiors All three versions include crew quarters in the bow and a full width saloon just forward of the maximum beam. Depending upon the layout selected, the galley is situated forward next to the crew accommodation or midships, aft of the saloon. All versions reflect the very latest interpretation of the classic Swan interior. Teak is the main visible joinery work, oil waxed with a satin finish. Light is a key feature that adds to the voluminous impression.
