PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Formulated with high-quality additives in large concentration, NIGHT LIGHT is transparent luminescent varnish adapted to marine environment. This paint will show long-lasting bright afterglow in dark after charged by a source of light. To get the best results, this varnish must be applied over light-colour substrate or undercoat (preferably white). Luminescent effect is proportional to thickness of coating, and several layers must be applied. Initially developed for marine applications (safety lines, buoys, ropes, stairs, boom indicator, clutch labels, sails adjustments...), NIGHT LIGHT can be used for many other activities (bicycle, camper vans,...) To get the best results, it's recommended to apply over white substrate. OPERATORS PROTECTION • Work in well-ventilated area (ensure adequate ventilation during use), wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, glasses and eye/face protection. Unprotected person must be kept away from treatment area. Dispose of protective gloves and equipment after use. • Read the label safety section for Health and Safety Information before application. SUPPORT PREPARATION On new or non-painted substrate : • Sand the surface with P240 grit to improve adhesion if surface is really smooth. Ensure that the substrate is clean (no dust), dry, and degreased with Nautix SD. • Apply one layer of undercoat and white finishing paint (DB / U3 / STARLAC or L2 - You can refer to products TDS) The whiter the support is, the best finishing aspect you will get with NIGHT LIGHT. On white substrate • Sand the surface with P240 grit to improve adhesion if surface is really smooth. Ensure that the substrate has been cleaned (no dust), dried, and degreased with Nautix SD. NIGHT LIGHT Luminescent 1-pack varnish Application : spray or soft foam roller. Apply between 10 and 30°C. Do not apply when there is a chance of condensation forming on the substrate (Dew-Point) : substrate, ambient air and product temperatures must be close. Do not use ventilator or heater directed on the surface. Once mixing ball is heard, shake thoroughly for minimum 2 minutes before use.
