We recommend testing the paint befor PRODUCT DESCRIPTION Nautix ACRALU is a 2-pack etch primer for the adhesion of coatings over aluminium, bronze, and galvanized surfaces. Once applied over substrates without oxidation and carefully prepared (sanded with P36-40 grade paper or cleaned with scouring acid, Nautix ACRALU will offer very good chemical adhesion to protective primers. It's very important to overcoat ACRALU with protective primer asap. On difficult accessible areas, use SCOURING ACID before paint application, and rinse with fresh water asap. • Ensure the substrate to be dried, degreased with Nautix SD, and free of dust before paint application. • Apply one thin layer of Nautix ACRALU. Maintenance • Remove old paints to start new preparation from metal substrate. • Remove all superficial oxidation by mechanical scouring with P40 to create adhesion. SAFETY INFORMATION Technical recommendation For metal substrate preparation, we recommend to use mechanical scouring by using special metal disk paper. ACRALU should be applied as soon as possible after scouring preparation to avoid oxidation of substrate. Apply one thin layer of ACRALU. Never use highthickness application. Recommended protective primers over ACRALU : PA, HPE, or EPOXYGARD. • Work in well-ventilated area (ensure adequate ventilation during use), wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, glasses and eye/face protection. Unprotected person must be kept away from treatment area. Dispose of protective gloves and equipment after use. • Read the label safety section for Health and Safety Information before application. Do not apply when there is a chance of condensation forming on the substrate (Dew-Point) : substrate, ambient air and product temperatures must be close. Stir or shake individual components thoroughly. Add hardener to the Base, stir and leave for 10 minutes to allow bubbles to disperse. Mix only the necessary quantity.
