NARAK-1

The Narak is a new model of sea kayak with the objective of delivering the esthetics and handling of a Greenland-style kayak with the advan- tages of modern technology: ergonomics, large cockpit entrance, Like a traditional Greenland design, Narak is a "skin-on-frame" kayak, with a wood (ash) structure and a skin tailored in high dura- bility PVC fabric. The hard chine hull makes this boat pleasing to the eye and completely seaworthy. Great to paddle in wind, Narak is very responsive to edging as well as very stable on the edge. Traditional kayaks were designed for hunting, and that's in the DNA of Narak: it has speed and acceleration to catch waves, a long waterline for good average speed and it can make carved turns easily. The Narak is a great all-around kayak and with its "Nautipack" flo- tation and storage bags, it is spacious enough for a few days of self- contained expedition paddling, while offering minimum of windage. Skin on frame Nautiraids date back from 1936 when Jean Chauveau founded the brand, now the oldest in France. Like every Nautiraid, Narak is fully foldable and can be packed in two bags easily carried into your car trunk or into a plane. Narak is ready to be paddled around the world, with style.
