The davit specifically designed for use on Sportfishing yachts features an exceptionally low-profile boom, ten-feet-long which is capable of being fully loaded to its safe working load capacity in any one of four positions without restriction. Understanding the exceptionally wet conditions found on the deck of a Sportfish yacht, we build this davit with close attention to corrosion protection. With operational safety being our prime focus, the MC davit features a marinized Electric Winch system, with low-voltage hand-control. The MC Davit rotates easily by hand on sealed steel roller-bearings. A hydraulic power rotating standpipe may be selected as an optional feature to enhance the davit‘s operating convenience. A through-deck standpipe is the typical mounting structure for the MC Davit, although a pedestal base mount may also be used in some applications. The MC Davit System is finished to our highest standards. The aluminum structure is etched and then primed with a twopart epoxy primer. Then the system is faired, and then primed again. The davit is hand sanded, and then moved into our heated finish booth where it is coated with a two-part AwlGRIP urethane spray-applied paint finish in a color of white to match your vessel.
