Technical Description
The engine block includes replaceable wet-type cylinder liners and a water-cooled exhaust manifold. The fuel system features a common rail fuel injection system, a fuel heater, and primary and secondary fuel filters. The lubrication system includes a replaceable full-flow oil filter, oil dipstick, and oil cooler. The cooling system is equipped with a closed cooling system with a heat exchanger, a gear-driven self-priming raw water pump, a coolant circulating pump, and a water-cooled exhaust elbow. The electrical system includes a 24V 50A alternator, a 24 Volt starter motor, and complete instrumentation with a key switch and alarms. The air intake is turbocharged with an air-to-coolant aftercooler. Other features include a flywheel SAE 3, internal balancers, and flexible engine mounting.

Optional Equipment & Accessories
Options include keel cooling adaptation, dry exhaust elbow, complete marine propulsion systems, marine transmission adaptation kits, throttle and shift controls, additional instrumentation, flying bridge extension harness, rigid engine mounting, and power take-off.

Rating
The engine is rated for up to 4000 annual operating hours with a load factor up to 50%. Full power can be used for no more than 4 hours out of each 12 hours of operation, with the remaining time at or below cruising speed.
