Specifications
The Nanni N4.80 propulsion engine is a 4-cylinder, 4-stroke diesel engine with a power output of 57.4 kW (79 hp) at 2700 rpm. It has a displacement of 2.434 liters and a compression ratio of 23:1. Technical Description
The engine block includes 4 valves per cylinder and a gear-driven valve train. The fuel system uses an Indirect E-TVCS injection system. The lubrication system includes a replaceable full-flow oil filter. The electrical system features a 12V/120A alternator and complete instrumentation.

Performance and Ratings
The engine is rated for up to 1000 hours per year with a load factor up to 35%. Full power can be used for no more than 30 minutes out of each 8 hours of operation. Performance curves indicate power and torque at various rpm levels, with peak torque of 220 Nm at 1800 rpm.
