Technical Description
The engine block consists of 4 cylinders in line with a gear-driven valve train and a water-cooled exhaust manifold. The lubrication system features a replaceable full-flow oil filter, oil dipstick, and oil drain pump. The cooling system is closed with a heat exchanger, gear-driven self-priming raw water pump, coolant circulating pump, and water-cooled exhaust elbow. The electrical system is 12V with a 100A alternator, electric starter motor, and stop function, along with an instrumentation panel that includes start/stop, tachometer, coolant temperature, and oil pressure indicators with alarms.

Options include keel cooling adaptation, complete marine propulsion systems, throttle and shift controls, additional instrumentation, flying bridge extension harness, polyester frame for Sail Drive version, engine mounting adaptation, two-pole electrical system, water boiler systems, stuffing box connections, complete fuel systems, complete exhaust systems, and a SOLAS approved version.

Rating
The engine is rated for up to 3000 annual operating hours with a load factor up to 40%. Full power operation is limited to 1 hour out of every 12 hours, with the remaining time at or below cruising speed.

Available transmissions include shaft line models TM345A, TM345H, TMC260, TMC60, TTMC35A, TTMC35P, ZF25, ZF25M, and Sail Drive model SP60.
