Welcome to the world of Naish Boardriding
Open the catalog to page 1For me, and every single one of our Hawaii based employees, riding the wind and waves is what we are all about. We are not part of some giant corporation and are not new to the surfing world. We have been designing, manufacturing and selling premium windsurfing, kiteboarding, and stand up paddle equipment since the inception of each sport -- windsurfing since 1979, kiteboarding since 1999, stand up paddling since 2007. Naish is made up of a talented international design team and top professional team riders from all three sports...including many World Champions, past and present. Unique as...

The Park’s 3-strut design and Swept Compact C outline provides a stable and responsive kite. The powerful profile and leading edge give the rider good low-end power and consistent pull over a wide wind range. The Park utilizes just enough sweep to maximize depower and allow easy relaunch. The Swept Compact C platform remains very close to a real C-shape in order to provide the crispness and feel in the bar that you really need. Designed...

Open the catalog to page 22PARK Technology Designer’s Notes What’s New: We focused on the low-end power delivery without losing any of the light, crisp feel. LE percentage and profile depth have been tuned to improve the low-end pull. We also slightly reduced the sweep in order to get the overall platform closer to a real classic C-shape. To maintain the relaunch characteristics, we slightly extended the wing tips, to keep the same leverage on the overall kite when the rider pulls on the back line. The Result: The rider can expect earlier planing without sacrificing handling. The bar feel is crisper, which means the...

Every strut is attached to a frame of heavy duty Dacron that is then sewn onto the canopy for unmatched resistance to wear and heavy loads. With all the new options available in light wind boards, riders are pushing the envelope of what is considered rideable. The new LWR (Light Wind Relaunch) gives the rider...

Built on our award-winning Sigma platform and featuring the Evolutive Profile, the Bolt is power-oriented in the large sizes and control-focused in the smaller sizes. The Geo-Tech construction maintains the shape, ensuring outstanding stability and control even in the gustiest conditions. The Bolt carries a reputation as the ultimate kite, in terms of stability and versatility. It is the kite of choice for Robby Naish....

Open the catalog to page 26BOLT Technology Designer’s Notes What’s New: For 2012, we concentrated on improving control over the kite’s wind range by: 1) The wing tip angle has been reworked in all sizes, to create less drag on the kite (direct response steering)v . The Result: The kite is able to fly faster and further forward in the window, providing more lift efficiency, better low-end and all-around stability. 2) The arc in the center area has been rounded out. This increases the surface in the middle of the kite and allows the trailing edge curve to match the leading edge shape perfectly. The Result: The kite...
Open the catalog to page 27Evolutive Profile The profile’s depth and shape evolves along the airfoil. The center sections generate power and speed. The tips are fast turning and minimize drag. This creates C-C a fast flying, stable kite with less back stalling. B-B C B C kites: bolt KITEBOARDING2012 Low Drag Wingtip This wing tip geometry reduces the overall surface on the nonlifting portion, and greatly reduces drag. The more efficient the lift/drag ratio becomes, the faster the wing tip can move through the air, which allows the kite to be both quicker and more responsive through turns. Open the catalog to page 28TORCH The world’s premier C-kite kevin langeree Target: Designed for competition freestyle, power freeriding and unhooked wave riding. The Torch flies quickly through the air and will depower easily with a quick check of the board edge. The power is delivered smoothly, with depower similar to a bridled kite by virtue of the kite’s ability to fly fast. Hooked in or unhooked, the riding is effortless and precise. The position of the struts makes the kite stiffer in the air, for an even more precise handling. The new Shift Control System is set up to support the arc and to provide easy water...
