For me, and every single one of our Hawaii based employees, riding the wind and waves is what we are all about. We are not part of some giant corporation and are not new to the surfing world. We have been designing, manufacturing and selling premium windsurfing, kiteboarding, and stand up paddle equipment since the inception of each sport -- windsurfing since 1979, kiteboarding since 1999, stand up paddling since 2007. PARK Technology Designer’s Notes What’s New: We focused on the low-end power delivery without losing any of the light, crisp feel. LE percentage and profile depth have been tuned to improve the low-end pull. We also slightly reduced the sweep in order to get the overall platform closer to a real classic C-shape. To maintain the relaunch characteristics, we slightly extended the wing tips, to keep the same leverage on the overall kite when the rider pulls on the back line. BOLT Technology Designer’s Notes What’s New: For 2012, we concentrated on improving control over the kite’s wind range by: 1) The wing tip angle has been reworked in all sizes, to create less drag on the kite (direct response steering)v . The Result: The kite is able to fly faster and further forward in the window, providing more lift efficiency, better low-end and all-around stability. 2) The arc in the center area has been rounded out.
