Vospower Water Jet The Vospower Water Jet is a compact, lightweight and powerful propulsion system. A single jet can power a two‐ton planing vessel, and suitable configurations are also available for displacement and semi‐displacement hulls. Refined yet simple design makes the Water Jet easy to maintain in place or remove for overhauls. Durable materials and rugged construction ensures long‐term reliability. Features Highest quality materials and workmanship. Cast aluminum body anodized for hardness. Cast aluminum‐bronze impeller. Stainless steel shaft, wear ring and hardware. Suitable for planing, displacement and semi‐displacement hulls. Single stage, mixed flow pump design for the most efficient performance. Full range of impellers available to meet the horsepower requirements of the vessel. Impeller clearance is adjustable. Rubber lip seals. Comprehensive cathodic protection system is included. Easily maintained via the access cover on the top of the unit. Couplings available to match intermediate shaft. Bronze grill/stone guard. Tapered front roller bearings to absorb thrust and radial forces. Control forces on steering and reverse are nominally zero. Simple mechanical controls (customer supplied) are normally used.
