A Builder: Multimarine Manufacturing LTD Introducing the new Dazcat 1295; a sports bridge-deck cruising catamaran. Dazcat's latest build is due for launch in 2017. Set to be the new 'middle sister' to the already successful Dazcat 1195 and 1495 designs, the 1295 has been optimised for performance racing and cruising. Stylish comfort combines with a performance rating similar to its sisters to create close racing. The additional freeboard and length gives increased comfort and full 1.95m headroom in the forward heads and showers, and increased wet deck clearance to 750cm. Also new is a slightly flatter rocker line aft and sharper sections forward. The engines have been moved under the raised galley sole to centralise the weight, increasing both performance and comfort of ride. All carbon parts lighten the boat overall and include all spars, bulkheads, rudders, dagger boards, bimini, steering wheels and davits. Shaft driven Nanni 21hp engines with a pair of 60-liter fuel tanks give approximately a 200nm range.
