The sMRT ALERT is a DSC Class M Man Overboard (MOB) Maritime Survivor Locating Device (MSLD) designed to automatically activate in a man overboard incident. It transmits GMDSS VHF DSC distress alerts and updates AIS position information continuously.
Specifications- Battery: 9V Lithium, UN3091 compliant, with a minimum alerting period of 12 hours at -20°C and a shelf life of 5 years at +20°C.

- DSC Alerts: Initial open loop every 5 minutes for the first 30 minutes, then every 10 minutes until acknowledgment or battery expiration.
