CRUISE FERRY NB 1376 FOR VIKING LINE ABP, FINLAND The new cruise ferry will be the world’s most environmentally friendly big passenger ship. The vessel uses LNG as fuel and she generates no marine emissions. Her emissions to air are extremely low. The wave making and noise emissions have also been minimized. The vessel has been specially designed to operate in the delicate and shallow waters of the Finnish and Swedish archipelago. The key driver in the development of the general arrangement was to enhance the archipelago experience for the passengers. The ship will provide sophisticated environment with spectacular scenery for the passengers on her uppermost decks. The cruise ferry is 214 metres in length with a gross tonnage of 57,000. She has a capacity of 2,800 passengers and will be operated by a 200-member crew. The ship, which is full of innovative and novel solutions, will have 880 passenger cabins. The main roro deck is equipped with a hoistable car deck. In addition a separate garage is available for private cars and vans.
