THE FASTEST FIREBOAT WE HAVE BUILT TO DATE The FireStorm 50 has proven sea-keeping abilities oshore in the Atlantic Ocean. The cabin, cuddy and head enable the crew to stay on station for extended periods as a command center. Equipped with an onboard generator, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, the vessel is a comfortable mobile command center. The cabin includes a primary patient care berth with 2 secondary care berths in the cuddy. Although all FireStorm’s can be equipped with CBRN defence systems, the FireStorm 50’s impressive speed and loading capacity have made it the ideal platform for the FireStorm 50 CBRN. The FireStorm 50 CBRN package is customized to match the specic regional emergency management plan including crew protection, decontamination, agent detection and command functions. Two 3,500 GPM rated reghting pumps can produce ow meter results of 7,600 GPM at 150 PSI and a triple pump arrangement has been tested to 11,200 GPM. A remote operated monitor mounted on the roof provides the primary reghting capability from a dedicated console within the cabin. Two monitors can be mounted on the bow for increased stream ow. Two 2.5” discharges and two 5” Storz outlets are tted on the aft deck. Triple diesel inboard engines matched to water-jet propulsion units can propel the boat to speeds of 44 knots and allow the boat to perform emergency stops and change direction within two boat lengths. The forward raked windshields, large side, aft and roof windows provide 360 degree visibility that is uncommon for a boat of its size and improve safety when working alongside other vessels or air units.
