Specifications:
The MCL 180 is a compact LED marine lantern designed for high optical efficiency and low consumption. It features a luminous system with a range of up to 8 nautical miles and a vertical divergence of up to 12°. The lantern offers a 360° horizontal output and an average operational lifetime of over 10 years. It is IP 68 rated for watertightness, making it resistant to immersion and marine environments. The lantern includes a patented optical system and is designed according to IALA Recommendations.

Materials and Environment:
The base is made of glass-fibre reinforced polyamide PA66-GF30, and the lens cover is UV-stabilized acrylic. It meets MIL-STD-202G standards for vibration and shock resistance. The lantern is equipped with a pressure-compensation valve to prevent condensation and operates in temperatures ranging from -20º to 70ºC. Inside hardware is made of stainless steel.

Solar Modules and Battery:
The lantern includes four 2W solar modules and a 12 Ah gelled, maintenance-free battery, providing up to 400 hours of autonomy without solar charging.

Options:
Programming can be done via PC, IR programmer, or Bluetooth. The lantern offers 256 flash rhythms and an adjustable day/night threshold. It features a three-phase solar charge regulation function and dynamic energy management based on latitude. Light intensity reduction due to low battery is user-configurable.

Optical System:
The light source consists of 3 to 6 ultra-bright LED diodes with high-precision acrylic lenses. The lantern offers a luminous range of up to 8 nm and is available in white, green, red, amber, and blue colors. The LED average life exceeds 100,000 hours.

Peak Intensities (Cd):
The peak intensities vary by color and vertical divergence, with white reaching up to 169 Cd at 5º divergence and 97 Cd at 12º divergence.
