e-Navigation Solutions Interface Board INTERFACE BOARD To acquire the data from the AtoN, an interface that collects and formats the messages is required. The interface board facilitates connection of the AtoN's various equipment (solar panel, battery, charger, hydro-meteorological sensor, etc.) to the AIS transponder. The interface board makes the connections required and formats the messages for transmission (message 6, 8 and 21).
