General Description
The foam skid is a compact unit designed to proportion an exact rate of foam concentrate directly into the fire water line near the nozzles, utilizing some of the water's energy. It is designed for systems using Matre pop-up nozzles but can be adapted for other applications.

Design Description
The system supports tank sizes from 200l to 300l and complies with CAP 437 requirements for helideck D-values from 22 to 28 (or 19-25 with an optional proportioner).

System Description
Main components include a foam concentrate tank and a turbine inline proportioner powered by water flow. The turbine shaft drives a pump that proportions foam concentrate into the water at a calibrated rate. An actuator valve controls system activation and shutdown. Foam insertion can be tested in recirculation mode without actual foam insertion. Control panels can be installed indoors or outdoors as per requirements.
