General Description
The foam skid is a compact unit designed to inject foam concentrate into the fire water line near the nozzles using water energy. It is compatible with Matre pop-up nozzles and other applications.
Design Description
The system supports a 680l or 1450l tank and is calibrated for 1% or 3% foam insertion rates. Inductor capacity ranges from K=280 to 3050, using DN100 or DN150 inductor sizes.
System Description
Main components include a foam concentrate tank and an inductor. The inductor creates a vacuum to draw foam into the water flow at a calibrated rate, typically 1% or 3%, using 30% of the water pressure. An actuator valve controls system activation, and foam insertion can be disabled for testing. Control panels can be installed indoors or outdoors.
