Standard Design: The Balanced Proportioner M-BP30 is designed to mix water and foam for firefighting applications. It is available in various materials including BS 1400 LG2, BS 1400 AB2, AISI 316, Titanium Gr2, and 6Mo.

Specifications: The water supply interface is DN 80 PN 16 / PN 40 or 3” ANSI 16.5 150 lb, with options for special designs. Foam supply interfaces start at 1” BSPP Female, with adaptors available for other sizes. The design pressure is 20 bar, with a test pressure of 30 bar. The flow range at maximum ΔP of 2 bar is 300 – 2900 l/min, with a water pressure range of 5-19 bar and foam pressure range 1-10 bar higher than water pressure, limited to 20 bar.

Insertion Rates: Standard insertion rates are 1% and 3%, with tolerances of 0% to +30%. Custom insertion rates are available, limited to a maximum foam flow of 150 l/min with tolerances of ±10%.

Valves: Check valves are available for the foam port in all materials and interfaces. A variety of activating/closing valves are available for foam supply, which can be automatic or manually operated, with or without feedback for valve position. A valve for selecting insertion rates of 1%, 3%, and 6% is available, which can be operated manually or remotely.

Installation Requirements: The unit weighs 19 kg and requires a straight pipe minimum of 3 x DN at the inlet. The outlet piping should match the inlet specification, but there are no requirements for straight pipe length.
