Product catalog summary
Overview: The MM2000TM is an intelligent addressable gas detection system designed for refrigerant gas detection on ships, complying with MARPOL Annex VI Regulation 12. It continuously monitors refrigerant gases using fixed sensors near refrigeration and air conditioning machinery.
Specifications: The system supports 1 to 32 sensor points and operates on a 24V DC or 110V/220V AC power supply. It includes a 4-line alphanumeric LCD display, twin green LEDs for power, twin red LEDs for alarms, and twin amber LEDs for faults. The user interface is menu-driven with six panel-mounted membrane push buttons.
Outputs: The system provides three alarm levels per channel and 16 user-programmable volt-free SPCO relays for machinery shutdown. It includes a common fault relay, mains fail relay, and an internal buzzer for alarms and faults.
Cable Details: The main network uses a 4-core cable (2 power, 2 comms) with a maximum length of 500m. The system is environmentally tested to comply with class criteria.
Physical Characteristics: The panel dimensions are 315mm x 260mm x 75mm, with a weight of 3.4kg. Cable entry is possible from the top, bottom, or rear. The system is Lloyds Type Approved with certificate 04/00079.
Sensor Specifications: The sensors operate in a range of 0-1000ppm with an alarm set at 300ppm. They are housed in 316 stainless steel/polymer, with dimensions of 33mm x 33mm and a weight of 165g. Accessories include a dust and spray protector and a duct mount kit.

MM2000 Refrigerant-1

MM2000 Refrigerant Gas Leak Detection MM2000TM is an intelligent addressable gas detection system designed to provide refrigerant gas detection on ships under MARPOL Annex VI Regulation 12-Ozone Depleting Substances, 5.5 Leak Monitoring Systems. Refrigerant gases are monitored continuously by fixed gas sensors installed in the vicinity of refrigeration and air conditioning machinery. Class societies advocate the use of fixed leak detection systems for environmental protection (e.g. Lloyds EP Notation). The MM2000TM system operates on a single 4-core cable having the capacity to monitor from 1 to 32 addressable sensors. The control system provides local indication of the measured parameters and alarm conditions together with relay contacts to shut down air conditioning or refrigeration plants as necessary. Type approved Loop sensor cable for low cost installation No moving parts Continuous monitoring of all sensors
