Electric Mooring Winch The DESM-18 is a rugged single-drum electric mooring winch designed to handle softline or wire-rope. Features include reliable power-in/power-out control for reduced maintenance demands. All electrical components comply with ABS, USCG, and IEEE-45 Marine Rules. WINCH SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS ♦ Fixed Speed Setting: ♦ Electric Motor & Drive: 400 feet of 1-1/8" diameter wire-rope or soft-line. 20,000 lbs line-pull at the 3rd layer (of five). 20 HP marine-duty electric motor with power-in and power-out operation. Spring-set, electric-release, marine duty automatic brake sized to 60,000 lbs holding capacity. NEMA-4X stainless steel pushbutton station. 440VAC 3 Phase, 60Hz, 15A.
