Product catalog summary
Engine Description
The V12-1650 and V12-1800 engines are 12-cylinder diesel engines arranged in a 90° V configuration. They operate on a 4-stroke cycle and are water-cooled. The engines feature a 2-stage turbocharger with a charge air intercooler and waste gate, and each cylinder has 4 valves. The fuel system is a Common Rail direct injection with electronic control, and the engines use a closed lubrication system with forced feeding, oil cooling, and filtering. Cooling is achieved through a plate heat exchanger using seawater. Engine control is managed electronically with an Electronic Diesel Control (EDC) and includes a diagnostic unit. The engines are compatible with DIN EN 590 fuel.
