Magnum 100' model, presented by Magnum Marine, gnum's largest yacht and is expected to be delivered tyling was designed by the talented young, Italian designer, Mancini, and offers a completely new concept of outdoor livability. The Magnum 100' has different seating, dining and viewing areas, with an expandable tóp providing various and movable shaded âpeas. *T Technologically designed by Magnum to be eco friendly^, Magnum emphasizes weight saving through the use of stronger and lighter materials. The vessel is built in advanced composite foams and carbon fiber, allowing critical HP to weight ratios to ^ be met with lower power, thus saving more tlian 20% in weight compared to similar models; also making the vessel structure more rigid and more efficient.. Eör less drag and therefore improved fuel consumption, Magnum installs surface drives which not only reduce consumption but > also increase top speed. For slow speed operation, the new Magnum will have an electric "harbor" deive: an electric wing engine for slow speed operation, which runs virtually silent and smoke free. No noise and no more exhaust fumes. The Magnum designed Interior LED and fluorescent lighting will increase efficiency and decrease interior heat load. Interiors will be custom designed for her owner and include four double^and very large staterooms, heads, reception and salon areas ánddi course comfortable crew cabins. All has been designed to be the most environmentally friendly, the most comfortable, the most seaworthy and fast new yacht in In 1990 Filippo Theodoli died, leaving the Magnum boatyard to his wife Katrin. Because Katrin loved Magnum, because she felt an enormous responsibility towards all those who had been working with Magnumforso manyyears,and lastly because she was irked and challenged by being told that no woman could ever run a boat company, she decided not to sell Magnum Marine and to keep her husband's legacy alive. Whilst she secretly learned how to drive a boat, she thought about designing her new and ideal Magnum. She consulted with Pininfarina and other designers such as Paolo Martin and the Brazilian Luiz de Basto. In 1993, three years after Filippo's death, she launched her first new model, the Magnum 50' "Bestia" or "the Beast". were designed for Katrin by the French House of Hermes. HM the King of Spain immediately ordered one of Katrin's new Magnum 50' power yachts.
