Aluminum marine gangways-1

Aluminum marine gangways Innovative solutions Aluminum gangway by MAADI Group are engineered to be the ideal long-term infrastructure solution for sustainable “green marina” development. Our lightweight aluminum design provides secure access gangways for new and renovated maritime facilities. Bracing members and custom anti-skid extruded aluminum decking units complete the structure and add to the overall strength of the gangway. The transitions plates are build to ensure an easy access to the bridge especially for handicap or wheeled light vehicles, regardless of the gangway’s inclination. Lightweight and corrosion-free structural aluminum gangways span up to 100 feet in overall length and provide safe and reliable access to docks, marinas and ports. The welded-style aluminum bridge system is impervious to corrosion from salt water, chemicals and pollution to ensure the maximum durability of the product. Hinge on higher end and integrated wheel on lower end are designed to carry the dead load and the live load capacity and guarantee the free displacement of the floating dock. Gangways are totally maintenance free; Single span from 3 to 30 meters (10 to 100 feet) and width from 1 to 3 meters (3 to 10 feet); Withstands severe weather/climate conditions; High-strength alloy construction using 6061; Strength UTS of 260 MPa; Various options enhances functionality and aesthetic; Bridge dead load structural weight of 0.5 kPa (8 to 15 psf); Designed to sustain a uniformly distributed live load of 4.8 kPa (100 p.s.f.); Aluminum members are fully recyclable; Certified aluminum welders according to AWS D1.2 and CSA W47.2 standards; Pedestrian bridge designed according to American and Canadian design codes; 304 or 316 stainless steel fasteners. 400 Montfort street, Suite 200 Montreal, Qc, Canada H3C 4J9 Tel.: 514.871.0179 / Fax.: 514.373.7225 © All rights reserved MAADI Group Inc. 2011.
