Installation Instructions
General Installation
  • Use the included 4 O-rings and 4 stainless steel wood screws for installation to avoid voiding the warranty.
  • Apply grease to screw holes to prevent damage to the chrome finish.

Adjusting Detent and Friction
  • Adjust tension by turning the Allen screw at the base of the handle using a 3/16” Allen wrench.
  • Periodic lubrication of rubber boots with Teflon-based lubricant is recommended.

Electronic Control Instructions
  • The throttle is controlled by a 0-5 volt potentiometer, programmable to customer specifications.
  • Ensure the control is labeled for the forward direction and do not reverse it.
  • Single switch function wiring: Red = +12 vdc, Green = Down, Blue = Up.

Hybrid Control Instructions
  • For hybrid controls, use 33C series cables.
  • Install new cables by routing them as old cables are removed.
  • Secure cables using the provided hardware and "U" bracket.
  • Use the included O-rings and screws for installation, applying grease to screws.

Warnings and Notes
  • Ensure cables are adjusted before operating engines.
  • Two mounting points are available for adjusting different cable throws.

715 Center Street Grayslake IL 60030 P: 847-752-2700 F: 847-752-2415 Plantinum Series Control Installation Instructions Standard, Billet and Arched handles Thank you for choosing Livorsi Marine® controls. Your new marine engine controls feature a one year warranty and are built using aluminum and stainless steel to insure years of trouble free service. The included 4 O-rings, and 4 stainless steel wood screws MUST be used to install the control or it will void the warranty. Do not over tighten. Its best to use grease in screw holes to prevent breaking chrome finish. To install your controls the following tools are needed: * Phillips screwdriver * 7/16" wrench or socket * 3/16" Allen wrench Cutouts are available at the end of this packet. Adjusting detent and friction: Adjust detent and friction to desired tension by turning allen screw at base of handle. Place throttle arm and/or detent in the slightly forward position. Using a 3/16” allen wrench, reach through the black rubber to the 3/16” set screw. Tighten or loosen as needed. Periodic lubrication of rubber boots in needed. Teflon base lubricant works best.
