TDS FAKO-CBG 3765 Sealing putty - 1

fako® Sealing putty 3765 has been developed as a supplement to the fako® Sealing strip 3714, for most sealing purposes where absolute resistance to ageing is required and for which an intermediate layer of 0.8 mm to 1 mm has to be used. In combination with the fako® Sealing strip 3714 most desired thickness’s can be obtained for seals. The putty does not become hard but remains plastic and elastic. Properties Product description Adhesive strength Temperature resistance Data To fulfil its requirements fako® Sealing putty 3765 has not only to be elastic but also plastic so that, when pressed, it will penetrate into any gaps and remain, thus forming a complete seal. Technically, this is only possible through a combination of two basic components with the same chemical structure but with different molecular weights. With two components the above requirement is met for both sufficient penetration depth and stability of the kit at the same time. By simple filling with a putty knife, you can obtain a minimum thickness of approx. 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm, which is very important, for thin metal plates. Priming is not required. Based on experience of last 30 years fako ® sealing putty 3765 will not harden or become brittle, nor will it degrade, thus ensuring no loss of its sealing power. Very good effective between –50° C and + 90°C temperature range in permanent use Short periods of heating up to 250°C will not harm this sealing putty. Decomposition will become noticeable at temperatures over 300°C. This putty is tasteless and odourless and physiologically acceptable. Owing to the fact that it contains no softeners, this putty will not become brittle and is also resistant to ozone. Warming the putty up to around 35°C – 40°C will make it easier to work Tasteless, odourless and physiologically perfect no detrimental effect on wood, glass, metal, plastics, such as Plexiglas, PVC, Astralon, Cellit, nor lacquer. It is resistant to water, seawater, many acids and lye, as well as to most inorganic chemicals. If you have any special requirements, please ask for our technical advice about applications; the putty is not resistant to inorganic solvents 1 kg and 5 kg plastic buckets We cannot guarantee the quality and suitability of the end products manufactured with our materials, as we have no influence on compliance with the processing instructions For special applications we recommend in any case own production tests to be carried out.
