The LC induction motors in this catalog are designed to achieve very high efficiency levels and operate at variable speed. This catalog contains technical information about motors in the IE3 efficiency class (Premium efficiency) which can be used on an A.C. supply and also on a drive. On request, Nidec Leroy-Somer is able to offer IE4 motor solutions. All the motors in this catalog can be used at variable speed depending on the specified conditions. To be eligible for efficiency class IE3, the water inlet temperature for water-cooled motors must be between 0°C and 32°C.
