PRODUCT DATA SHEET KUIPER BASIC MDF BLACK DIMENSION: 244X122 CM / 305X122 CM weight: 600 KG/M3 THICKNESS: 9-18 MM BLACK COLOURED MDF Scope Moisture resistant high density MDF, colored black in the mass, for use in humid conditions, also suitable for structural applications with instantaneous or short-term load duration. Description High-density MDF with hard, fine sanded surface and particularly screwable core, MUF glued. The board is subject to minimal expansion and swelling in conditions of high humidity. Suitable for load-bearing applications in humid conditions, MDF Umidax® Noir can be refined with paper, melamine, veneer, laminate or lacquer. MDF Umidax® Noir is made of 100 % softwood and has no coarse fibres in the surface. The board is very easy to mill and has low formaldehyde emission (El class). Technical specifications MDF UMIDAX® Noir meets the specifications of EN 622-5, option 1, cyclic test, in which the board is immersed in water, frozen and finally dried. This cycle is repeated 3 times, after which the test specimens are tested for swelling and internal bond strength. The board is CE marked and checked daily by the inhouse lab.
