SHARPEYE™ SOLID STATE TRANSCEIVER Kelvin Hughes has developed SharpEye™ to deliver superior radar performance and reliability in both land and sea theatres. SharpEye™ is the world's first affordable solid state radar offering high reliability and low cost of ownership. It delivers detection performance previously only available from much more expensive military systems. First adopted for use in marine and naval platforms, the proven SharpEye™ patented pulse sequence and advanced Doppler processing is now available for use in the land environment. SharpEye™ delivers an improvement in sub-clutter visibility by approximately 30dB against other radar technologies. This means targets with small radar cross sections (RCS) such as soldiers can be detected even in the presence of heavy land clutter. SharpEye™ provides superior situational awareness through increased probability of detection of small targets and increased detection ranges compared to competing radars. SHARPEYE™ LONG RANGE MULTI-DOMAIN RADAR Providing unparalleled land, sea and low level air surveillance, the Kelvin Hughes radar solution is the perfect choice for multi-domain surveillance. Already in service in a range of operational roles, the SharpEye™ radar has proved itself to be the best operational fit due to its excellent performance against small targets in clutter. Its relatively light payload means it can be fitted on a number of platforms, from deployable containers to fixed infrastructure. The reliability of the transceiver and low profile antenna allows it to be used in the harshest environments where only limited support is possible. Combined with suitable trackers for land, sea and air targets, and unique picture compilation software, the SharpEye™ radar is a true multi-domain surveillance asset. LIGHTWEIGHT MOBILE RADAR The SharpEye™ SxV high performance, lightweight X-band surveillance radar is designed for easy installation on multiple platforms, including vehicles with fixed or telescopic mast systems. The SxV provides the user with a discreet means to build the surveillance picture. With 360 degrees of coverage, the SxV is the most powerful sensor available in its class. The X-band transceiver provides detection capability in all weather and clutter conditions, including heavy rain and sand storms. Combined with Kelvin Hughes powerful but easy to use integrated display software, the user is provided with the best lightweight, easily deployed and ultra reliable surveillance option. ADDITIONAL SENSORS / ADDITIONAL INTEGRATED SENSOR PACKAGES Kelvin Hughes is able to offer combined sensor packages to complement the long range and all-weather detection capability of the radar, most commonly incorporating an electro-optical component. The radar can also be complemented with a range of other sensors to enhance the user's ability to detect, then track, recognise and ultimately identify targets. Applying our unique, intuitive CxEye™ control and integration software the operator is able to merge and control multiple sensors to achieve maximum situational awareness.
