Measure and cut a 3 metre length of 14mm DynIce 75 rope for the connector. 2 Slide the 30cm plastic sleeve onto one end of the connector. Divide one metre of the other end (12 strands) into two branches of 6 strands each. 4 From each these make three approximately 40cm braids. Slide the 10cm sleeves and the tube thimble onto the braids.

Make an eye using the gap between the braids. Splice the loose ends by taking them through the braids and back through the pipe thimble and the sleeves. Thin the end of the splice, place the sleeve over the end and shrink the sleeve with a heat gun until the splice end is secure. 8 The completed braids and thimble. Take the DynIce Data cable through the DynIce connector. 10 Tie a seizing around the cable and the connector close to the first end. Thin the first end of the DynIce connector. Slide a 30cm sleeve over the seizing and the cable and shrink it with the heat gun until tight.
