Functionality
The system operates automatically via a PLC-controlled step-by-step program, utilizing flocculation as its working principle. The process involves:

Initial oil release in the gravity tank, followed by filling the settling tank with emulsified water.
Addition and mixing of emulsion breaking chemicals, with simultaneous pH adjustment.
Discharge of oil from the previous batch to the sludge tank.
Creation of three layers during the adjustable settling time, with the bottom layer discharged to the sludge tank and treated water to the oily water separator.
Manual operation is also possible, with all alarms displayed on an LCD screen.
