HEAT EXCHANGERS Shells Evaporator, refrigerant condenser and steam condenser shells are fabricated from rolled carbon steel plates with fusion welded seams. Carbon steel tube sheets, drilled and reamed to accommodate the tubes, are welded to the end of each shell.
