CHARACTERISTICS The pump drives range of equipment allows a single or a multiple of pumps to be driven from a single prime mover. Single pump drives allow a pump to be close coupled to a diesel engine that has a flywheel and flywheel housing in accordance with SAE standards (non standard can also be accommodated). Supplied in a kit format consisting of a bell housing fully machined to suit the particular pump mounting and a flexible coupling to suit the engine flywheel and particular pump shaft. (2) Mobile or intermittent applications, without cooling system for pump drive. (3) Stationary industrial applications, with Technodrive cooling system. Maximum continuous power may increase by using a stronger cooling system. Use gear lube oils with EP additive and minimum viscosity index of 95. The oil choice may be made taking account of the ambient temperature, as the table below. The pump drives are supplied without oil. Before use, fill to the maximum level on dipstick. The oil quantity indicated in the catalogue is approximate. Additional oil will be needed if a cooling system is fitted. Oil must be replaced after the first 50 working hours.
