Design and Materials
The monitor features a single flow path long barrel with electric/hydraulic remote control and an air aspirating foam pipe. It operates via hydraulic motors and a joystick remote control, with manual backup through two hand wheels. The waterway is constructed from bronze and high-grade stainless steel, with gear housing in cast iron. Swivels and gears are sealed and greased for life, and AISI 316 hydraulic tubes and fittings are used, along with carbon/teflon type water seals.
Remote Control System
The monitor and Jet Fog nozzle are controlled by a self-contained hydraulic system, with the power unit and control valves mounted within a stainless steel cabinet on the monitor. Two hydraulic motors facilitate monitor movement, controlled remotely by a joystick.
