Prefabricated, Self-Adhesive, Cold Applied Bitumen-Polymer Strip When different types of road structure meet, a flexible joint must be created between the structures. The Stratos ARS 1.0 forms a flexible watertight seal accomodating slight movement from cyclic loads The Product Stratos ARS 1.0 is an elasto-plastic jointing strip made of bitumen modified with “SBR” type thermoplastic elastomers, extruded, preformed and industrially prefabricated, self-adhesive, cold applied, ready for use. and thermal changes thus preventing cracking and subsequent erosion of the joint by weathering. On request it can be added with biocides to prevent vegetative growth. Uses The Stratos ARS 1.0 Strip can be used as a: Connecting piece between the different elements the edges of which form discontinuity of the road surface: - between the bituminous mix and the concrete element
