The Stratos ARS 1.0 Strip is used as a connecting piece between different road surface elements, such as between bituminous mix and concrete elements, and between bituminous mix surfaces and functional elements like sumps and gratings. Product Description
Stratos ARS 1.0 is an elasto-plastic jointing strip made of bitumen modified with SBR type thermoplastic elastomers. It is extruded, preformed, self-adhesive, cold applied, and ready for use. The strip includes a root/weed killer to prevent plant growth.

Preparation and Installation Procedures
Installation requires smooth, dry, grease-free surfaces. The strip is bonded between the vertical faces of the joint. Existing asphalt or concrete structures should be cut to provide a clean edge. The strip must be fitted vertically and should be about 10 mm higher than the upper surface of the layer to be installed. Secure the strip by pressing firmly, and if the temperature is below 15°C, heat the substrate to improve adhesion.

Storage and Shelf Life
The product should be stored in a dry, covered place at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C. It is best used within 12 months, although it is not affected by frost.

Dimensions and Packaging
Standard length is 10 meters, with thickness of 10 mm and widths ranging from 30 mm to 60 mm. Other dimensions are available on request. Each box contains 2 rolls.
