Waterproofing Membranes ROOF UNDERLAYMENTS Self-Adhesive Waterproofing Bituminous Membranes for Roof Applications. THE PRODUCT The Elotene Waterproofing product range consists of four self-adhesive self-sealing waterproofing bituminous membranes, designed and developed as vapour barriers for roof applications. The membranes are composed of a bituminous compound modified with synthetic rubbers and high tack resins that gives to the product excellent adhesive and self-sealing characteristics. The compound is coated on different aluminium-based films, in order to fit the user specific requests in terms of mechanical features and applications. Each membrane has specific features that make it suitable for different applications: • Elotene DS: total vapour barrier membrane with reinforced aluminium film; • Elotene DSN 800: total vapour barrier membrane with high mechanical strength; • Elotene DSR: carrier membrane with skid inhibiting surface, for an excellent grip; • Elotene DSFR 800: total vapour barrier membrane with a low calorific value special compound <10500 Kj/ m2. USES The Elotene bituminous membranes are compatible with most building and industrial materials. They are used as vapour barriers or carrier membranes in composite multilayer waterproofing systems, for flat roofs and corrugated metal sheets. They can be used in built-up roof systems, in conjunction with standing seam systems, insulated panels, concrete flat roof or metal deck.
