Sealing & Adhesive Products RESY AC Self-Adhesive Butyl Sealing Tape Anti-Condensation RESY AC is a self-adhesive sealing tape consisting of a highperformance butyl rubber compound and cork. RESY AC is available in various sizes for multipurpose applications. Protection against condensation on cold fluids ducting, thermal and acoustic insulation of piping. It can be used in air-conditioning. RESY AC, thanks to its low thermal conductivity, allows an effective protection against condensation on cold pipes. • Low thermal conductivity; • Cold applied; • Excellent adhesion at low temperatures; • Excellent heat stability; • Solvent-free. Standard length: 10 m *. Standard thickness: 3.0 mm *. Standard widths: 50 / 75 mm *. Other widths, lengths and thicknesses are available on request. The rolls are bulk packaged in boxes. SURFACE PREPARATION The sealing tape must be applied to a clean, dry, smooth and dust-free surface. For an application between 0 °C and 5 °C, ensure that frost or condensation are absent on the surface. In case of porous supports it’s advisable to stabilize the surface.
