ELOTENE HD - 1

Waterproofing Membranes ELOTENE HD Self-Adhesive Bituminous Membrane Self-Protected with Polypropylene Mesh. Elotene HD is a self-adhesive bituminous waterproofing membrane self-protected by an HD polypropylene mesh. This membrane with its excellent mechanical properties has been designed to waterproof bridges and viaducts, transit areas and ramps, where adhesion to the structure and resistance to enormous breaking and puncture loads is important. The polypropylene mesh does in fact give to the membrane extremely high mechanical strength. Elotene HD is also able to resist high temperatures and consequently the hot binder can be laid on top of it without any protection at all. • Waterproofing of bridges and viaducts and anywhere mechanical strength is required; • Waterproofing of carriage way transit areas, road ramps, car parks, elevated plazas, airport runways, road joints. • High resistance to breaking and puncture loads; • Waterproof and Self-adhesive; • Road binder can be applied hot directly on the membrane; • Cold applied without use of flames. Standard Length: 20 m * Standard Thickness: 1.5 mm * Standard Width: 1000 mm * Other lengths and thicknesses are available on request. The rolls are packed individually in cardboard boxes and placed on pallets. SURFACE PREPARATION All surfaces on which Elotene Waterproofing membranes have to be installed must be dry, clean, smooth and free of impurities. If the surface is porous, apply a coat of Primer in a quantity of 75 - 150 g/sqm. The use of Primer is in any case advisable, and the manufacturers instructions must be followed. A wrong use of Primer can influence the membrane efficiency. * The product dimensions may vary within defined ranges because of the product characteristics and its manufacturing process.
