USES Butyl Drums are butyl rubber mastics with fillers and resins. The range of Butyl Drums is designed for industrial applications. The mastics are vacuum manufactured and outgassed. This process guarantees the compound to be solvent free, filtered and free from air bubbles and scents. Butyl Drums are available in different formulations: • D30 characterized by high extrusion easiness; • D510 characterized by good extrusion easiness and good adhesion; • D1200 characterized by high adhesion. Other compound formulations can be developed for specific uses and under specific requirements. Butyl Drums are used in industrial applications to form adhesive bonding strips on most substrates, such as steel, aluminium, fabrics. Butyl Drums are employed in the following sectors: profile industry, building sector, automotive, glass industry, sealing and tape rolls, converter processes and environmental engineering.
