Extremely Reduced Elastic Recovery Sealing & Adhesive Products Self-Adhesive Sealing Butyl Tape protected by a Highly Performant Crepped PE Film Bu-tylene PE WAVE T is a self-adhesive sealing butyl tape protected by a strong, high density, white crepped polyethylene film with extremely reduced elastic recovery. The special crepped PE film allows an elongation/ deformability up to 60 %. Standard Length: 5 m *. Standard Thickness: 1.7 mm *. Standard Width: 5/7.5/10/15/20/25/30 cm *. Other widths, lengths and thicknesses are available on request. The rolls are individually packed in shrink-wrap, placed in boxes and packed on pallets. • Extremely reduced elastic recovery; • Self-Adhesive and Self-Sealing; • Elongable/Deformable up to 60 %; • Flexible, light, easy to manage and to apply. USES Bu-tylene PE WAVE T is an ideal jointing tape for the sealing of connections. The product perfectly moulds to irregular structures. Bu-tylene PE WAVE T is not U.V. resistant. It is necessary to protect the tape from U.V. rays within 3 months from the application. SURFACE PREPARATION Bu-tylene PE WAVE T is compatible with most building materials, metals and flexible or hard plastics. Bu-tylene PE WAVE T must be applied to a clean, dry, smooth and dust-free surface.
