Interstrip AF Special Products One-Pack Paint Stripper PRODUCT DESCRIPTION A paint stripper especially formulated for removal of antifoulings. Interstrip AF is not aggressive and will not damage gelcoats. PRODUCT INFORMATION Colour Specific Gravity Volume Solids Typical Shelf Life Unit Size DRYING/OVERCOATING INFORMATION Drying Wash off loose antifouling with fresh water, preferably at high pressure. Mask off areas to be stripped. Apply liberally with an old broad brush (75-150 mm) using a stippling action to get a good thickness. Work systematically around the hull covering approximately 1-2 m at a time, ensuring adequate ventilation. Leave on the surface for at least 10 minutes. Remove while still soft with a blunt wooden scraper. Heavy build up may require more than one application. Cleaner Clean up, when still wet, with water. Once paint has dried: YTA085 Thinners No.3 Other Ensure adequate ventilation during use. Some Important Points Suitable for use on GRP, Steel, Aluminium and Wood. Application Methods TRANSPORTATION,STORAGE AND SAFETY INFORMATION Storage GENERAL INFORMATION: Exposure to air and extremes of temperature should be avoided. For the full shelf life of Interstrip AF to be realised ensure that between use the container is firmly closed and the temperature is between 5°C/41°F and 35°C/95°F. Keep out of direct sunlight. TRANSPORTATION: Interstrip AF should be kept in securely closed containers during transport and storage. GENERAL: Read the label safety section for Health and Safety Information, also available from our Technical Help Line. DISPOSAL: Do not discard tins or pour paint into water courses, use the facilities provided. It is best to allow paints to harden before disposal. Remainders of Interstrip AF cannot be disposed of through the municipal waste route or dumped without permit. Disposal of remainders must be arranged for in consultation with the authorities.
