Surface Preparations and Systems
- For previously antifouled surfaces in good condition, rinse with fresh water and dry. Use Primocon if antifouling is incompatible or unknown.
- For poor surface conditions, use Interstrip to remove antifouling. Prime GRP with Gelshield 200 or Primocon, Steel/Iron with Interprotect or Primocon, Lead with Etch Primer followed by Interprotect or Primocon, and Wood with Intertox and then Interprotect or Primocon.
- Wet sanding is recommended; never dry or burn off antifoulings.
- Apply an extra stripe coat in high wear areas.

Drying and Overcoating Times
- Drying times vary with temperature, from 1 hour at 5°C to 20 minutes at 35°C.
- Immersion times range from 24 hours at 5°C to 6 hours at 35°C.
- Overcoating times range from 16 hours at 5°C to 4 hours at 35°C.
